Don't know quite where to put this but this forum seems as good as any. Have spent quite a few years working on this stuff, so here goes. I will start with alignment design and related issues. Think I will ultimately make several threads, but I will start with general alignment issues. I intend to present them step by step, but will work them up offline and then plop them in component by component. First, you can't violate the laws of physics. Some of the good sounding futuristic science fictionie ideas, are just that, fiction. There are a few surprises with increased speeds, but many of them are face slappers, "why didn't I see that one coming" issues.
